The Wonder of the First Cruise Through a Child’s Eyes

We recently got off the Carnival Magic in Miami after a glorious family cruise! This was the first time that we took all four of the kids with us on a cruise. The youngest two got to experience all of the wonders of a cruise for the first time and it was fun watching their joy and wonder at every new experience!

We partied with Build a Bear Workshop at Sea and both of them got to take home their own special friend. We also went to the Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast. In addition to these events, Frankie had a lot of fun in Camp Ocean. Lizzy enjoyed some independence and tried out the arcade, miniature golf, Waterworks, and other fun activities onboard. Frankie celebrated a birthday onboard, and our dining room team helped make it extra special!

In addition to pool time on the ship and beach time while in the various ports of call, the whole family had a great time at the Amber Cove Aqua Zone. The Aqua Zone is very nice pool with a lazy river and splash pad that has FREE admission! There are also water slides and a zip line available for an added fee. The pool is just a short walk to the right of the pier when exiting the ship. We were some of the first ones off the ship and Lizzy and Frankie had the splash pad to themselves for a little while!
